Jaelyn is Rolling Over!

Jaelyn is rolling over from stomach to back and back to stomach. She started doing them both on the same day - January 28th, 2010! Watch this video of her as she rolls from her stomach to her back.

James' Wish List

James has a wish list list in mind and goals set of things he wants to do:

1. Fly on an airplane
2. Build a tree-house

James has told me just about everyday for the last two weeks tha the wants to fly on an airplane so bad. I have tried every angle to change his mind and it hasn't worked. I have told him how boring it it, that he just has to sit there. That he can't see anything, that it is like riding in the car, but he is in his seat for hours. I have also talked to him about how much it costs! "To fly all of us it would cost over $800 and we could go to Disney land for that!" I told him. Nothing has worked... that's ok - I love that he is dreaming big!

Building a tree-house was a new wish that he told me last night. He told me he wanted trees in his backyard so he could build one. I told him I knew the perfect place to build one. "Where?", he said. "In Montana at Grandma and Grandpa's house." "We already built a swing on it!"

I told him there were lots of trees there. He said, "oh yea, in the front!"

Then he went back to his dream of flying and told me that he did not want to drive there anymore that he wanted to fly. :)

Swim Lessons

James started swim lessons again today! Jacob had a fever so he had to miss, but will join James in the pool next week.

10 weeks today!

I can't believe it has been 10 weeks already!

Two Month Well Check

At her two month well-check, Jaelyn weighted 10 pounds 3 ounces (46th percentile), was 22 inches (30th percentile), and had a head circumference of 37 cm (10th percentile).

Happy New Year!

On New Years Day I got together with two of the first great friends I met when I first moved to Arizona. It has been a long time since the three of us were together. Actually the last time we were together was before we all were married and had kids - 7 years. We had a great time and all of our seven kids did too.

Jacob Today

This morning, Jacob brought Josh his wallet. It was clear that everything had been taken out of it and put back in by a 3 year old. We were asking Jacob, if he put everything back in. He said "yes, except for one dollar," he held up his finger as he said it. We said "Oh yea?" He said, "It would not fit so I threw it in the garbage." Oh Jacob... Needless to say, Josh went digging and fished out a 5.
