Josh's Words About James to His Mom

Forgot to tell u, in James' class they have been building a city. He decided to run for mayor, along with 6 other people. He received the majority vote.
And today everyone was building their own house for the city and he said he had to answer a thousand questions all day today like "can I have snow on my roof?" etc. he is proud of himself that he campaigned and won
He ran in the platform on no littering, keeping people safe, and keeping people healthy - no junk food allowed.
He laughed tonight tho cuz he said they only have 6 shops in town and one of them is a candy store lol
Yeah I agree. I'd say he is more confident now than he's ever been
Juli and I feel like we r pretty hard on him and expect so much from him. sometimes we forget how good of a kid he really is
Yeah, like me being voted a peer mentor
They r always doing a "pillar" in class. December was caring. Monday morning juli woke up complaining of a sore throat. James heard he say it to me and brought her a glass of ice water, unprompted.
So juli wrote it down and sent the note to school with him

Jacob's Kindergarten Snow Show

Jacob colored a snowman. He even chose to add a broom and arms to it (he was the only one). It is so cute!!

Every once in a long while, my kids surprise me. Tonight they were so good at dinner!!! I felt like I was eating with and having conversation with adults. It was amazing. Thank you James, Jacob and even Jaely for being so good tonight.
