Jacob and "Baby Sister"

I was taking Jaelyn's daily photo shoot and Jacob said he wanted to be in the pictures so naturally he jumped in- as you can see in the first picture. I decided after that to make it a sibling photo shoot (James was at school so I will have to take pictures of him with her tomorrow ;).

Getting on the Plane

Jaelyn fell asleep before we boarded the plane and slept the whole way! Take off, flight, and landing!

James' 6 Year Well Check

James was in great health at his 6 year check up. He was 43 3/4 inches tall (20%), and weighed 41 pounds (25%)- this is the highest percentile he has ever been for weight. Remember most of his life he has been in the 5th percentile and at one point he was "failure to thrive".

My Dress

A year and a half ago, the summer of 2008, my Aunt Carolyn gave me a dress that was mine when I was a baby. My mom had given it to her for her girls to wear and when she found out I was now having babies of my own, she set it aside to return to me. Now here is Jaelyn wearing that very dress.

Happy 6th Birthday James!

James had a wonderful birthday today. Yesterday he picked out a new game for his DS, but he had to wait until his birthday to play it - so it was the first thing he did this morning. Then he was off to school where we, (Josh, Jacob, Jaelyn, and I) brought his cake to share with the class at 3 o'clock. After school Graysen joined us to sing happy birthday, open a few gifts and head to Chuck E Cheese for dinner and a few games. We got home about 8PM, bed time... we asked James if he had a good birthday and he said yes. It was a successful day and I cannot believe that we have had him in our lives for 6 years!!
