Jacob's Birthday Cake
When shopping the cakes at Sam's Club Jacob decided he wanted the cake or his party to have his picture on it. We took the order sheet home with us and I started showing him pictures of himself asking him which one he wanted. He told me he wished there was a picture of him doing a "wheely" on his bike. I told him I could take one. So we held a photo shoot until there was one that he liked. First he liked the front view and then I offered to take a few from the side. He immediately fell in love with the side angle and found the perfect picture for his cake. We headed to Walgreens and printed a 5x7. We pick up the cake tomorrow. He is very excited for his party and his cake!!

Mommy Everything
Jaelyn is going through a phase right now where I am her world. It's mommy everything. And although I do remember this from the first two go rounds and I remember saying "daddy can do it too", I'm soaking it all up this time. I'm not sure how long it will last. Soon she will be older and want nothing to do with me. Until then, I'm going to love every minute of it.

Jacob Turned 6 Years Old!!!
We had a wonderful celebrating Jacob's birthday. Per his request, I made him chocolate chip cupcakes for breakfast.
Then we celebrated with an Angry Birds cake in his classroom.
After school we headed to Dairy Queen for our birthday tradition with the kids' Great Grandparents, great Grandma Joan and Great Grandpa Cork. The kids each get to pick their blizzard of choice.
Next, We went to Macayo's for Dinner. Jacob's favorite dinner. James was then picked up by a friend for football practice and the two little ones road bikes until the sun went down. Jacob went right to sleep after wonderful day!
